Player Profile - Jack Higgins (2nd Jul 2015 - 31st May 2016)
Jack has been a stalwart in the back four for Ashton United, not only becoming their player of the year for 2015, but also voted the best centre half of the year in the Evostik Premier. He started out at Crewe Alexandra and has also played for Boston United, Rushden & Diamonds, Rossendale United & Clitheroe. Whilst on at Rushden and Diamonds he was frequently sent on loan, playing for Daventry Town, Billericay Town and Hemel Hemsptead Town. In his first season, he cleaned the board at the Player of the Year awards resulting in a move to York City for the 16/17 season.
