Player Profile - Adam Mather (12th Sep 2016 - 1st Jun 2017)
Adam started his non-league career at New Mills, making over 250 appearances, before moving to Woodley Sports (as it was then) in 2011. After an impressive season, Adam moved to Mossley, via a brief stint at Curzon Ashton, in 2012. The left sided winger found the net fourteen times during his stay at Mossley, but after a season, he was lured to Chorley. He helped Chorley to promotion from into the National League North (appearing forty times and scoring three times), before making the switch to Bradford Park Avenue in 2014 after struggling to get back to fitness after an injury to regain his place in the Magpies squad. At the start of the 2016/17 season, he joined Ashton United, but followed Management Duo, Phillips and Halford, to Stalybridge in September 2016.
