
Adam came through the youth team at Manchester City. On his release, he joined Oldham Athletic briefly before joining Mossley in 2004, and then Woodley Sports in 2005, scoring for fun at both clubs, he caught the eye of Portsmouth, for whom he had trials, but instead signed for Bradford Park Avenue in 2007. It was a brief stint, before returning to Mossley via Northwich Victoria and Witton. 2008 saw Adam sign for Halifax for a season, and then Salford City for the next season, before being lured to Ashton United for his first stint of two seasons. 2010 saw him return to Salford City, where he helped them to promotion, before he made the unusual switch to play for Shepparton United in Australia for the summer. In 2012 he returned to the UK and joined Skelmersdale United, and then in 2014, joined Droylsden for a season. His second stint at Ashton followed, getting them to the promotion final, and in 2016, he joined Colne, from where he joins Celtic.
