Iranian born striker, Porya goes by the name of Rio, making a name for himself with consecutive hattricks while playing for Salford City. He started as a youth player with Sheffield United (appearing in the Youth FA Cup final for them), before joining Salford. His scoring antics soon had him moving up the leagues to join Chorley in 2011. After a spell with Skelmersdale United, he joined Droylsden, then Ramsbottom in 2014.At the start of the 15/16 campaign he joined New Mills, netting eleven goals before finishing the season with Mossley (scoring on his debut), and joined Trafford in 2015, before moving to Bangor in Wales, scoring eight in 28 appearances, making him the highest scorer in his first season with the Welsh club. He stayed in Wales when he joined first Prestatyn Town, then Rhyl in 2016.
