Michael joins on loan from Conference North table toppers, AFC Fylde in order to get more games under his belt. He was Dave Challinor's first signing after Fylde were promoted, signing him from Guiseley where he had made thirty appearances in the 13/14 season, and scored three goals. He started his career at Manchester United, playing for the youth teams, before making the switch to Blackburn's youth team in 2008. He signed at Blackburn in 2010, but after a season never making it in to the first team, Michael joined York City for two seasons in 2011, making twenty-three appearances over two seasons before joining Guiseley.
