Scott joins from Squires Gate, a team he has payed for twice. He started with Chorley FC back in 2009, making his first full debut in April in a 2-2 draw with Salford, but he quickly moved on to join AFC Fylde. In 2010, he joined Squires Gate for the first time, picking up The Young Player of the Year award. After being ever-present, he joined Kendal Town in 2012 under Lee Ashcroft. When Ashcroft took the reigns at Northwich Victoria in 2013, Scott went with him. However, a series of niggling injuries made establishing a first team place difficult, and in 2014, he joined Clitheroe after being sent on loan first to Ashton United and, later, finishing that season with Witton Albion. The fast-paced winger can play on both flanks and was named in the Team of the Year whilst with Clitheroe. His performances meant that 2016 saw a move to Warrington, and getting to within a whisker of promotion to the Conference North. Lancaster City brought him in after promotion for the 2017/18 season, but he quickly moved back to Squires Gate to finish the season off.
