Author: Taran Dhamrait - Mon 27 May 24Stalybridge Celtic’s Academy are holding an open trial on Thursday 13th June 2024 alongside our education partners Central YMCA.
An alternative to college, choose to study a Level 3 in Sport and alongside your team-mates, be based at our home stadium Bower Fold and experience the world of football.
Train and play four times a week with experienced coach Dean Brathwaite and his team, with the option to play in our dedicated Under 18’s team who compete in the North West Youth Alliance League Team and play in the prestigious FA Youth Cup.
You’ll also get the chance to play for Stalybridge Celtic in a league that features teams including Macclesfield FC and Stockport County.
We have a player pathway through to our League and Cup double winning Under 21’s side as well as James Kinsey’s First Team. Through the YMCA, there’s also routes through to semi-professional football and pathways to scholarships in the USA.
