James is in his second stint at Celtic (previously here 23-October-2001 to 05-May-2002). He started as a trainee at York, before being snapped up by Scarborough when his traineeship finished. Problems at the McCain stadium meant that players had to be shed, and the new management decided that Jamie was surplus to requirements before ever really giving the young lad a chance to shine. He was part of the wholesale squad change at the end of the 2001/2 season, but after Celtic disastrous Conference outing, he went onto join Harrogate Town, but has come back to Celtic. After struggling to maintain a first team spot, he joined Mossley.
