On loan from AltrinchamMidfielder Sam has had two spells at Altrincham. Back in 2009 he made four appearances for the Robins on loan from Bolton Wanderers where he came through the ranks, before making the move to Stockport County where he went on to make 55 appearances and score twice. A loan spell at Southport in 2012, saw him make 3 appearances and score 1, but signalled the end of his Stockport career, moving to Barrow and helping them to the Conference North title. In 2015 he made a brief stop at Chorley, before joining FC United of Manchester in October 2015. It was at FC United that he found form, making over sixty appearances and scoring four goals. In 2017, he joined Altrincham, but after an injury was struggling to make it into a settled side, so has come to Celtic on loan.
