Celtic is thrilled to confirm Matty Carson’s loan from Accrington Stanley has been extended for a further month.

The 20-year-old left-back will stay at the club for a further month as he looks to build on his 10 appearances so far, since joining the club initially in October.

Matty has four goals to his name having scored a stunning hat-trick in the 4-2 win over Liversedge as well as netting in the Cheshire Senior Cup fixture vs Warrington Town. He assisted former loanee Dylan Moonan as the pair made their debut earlier in the season at Hurst Cross.

The club would like to thank Accrington Stanley for allowing Matty to continue his loan spell at Celtic. 

The extension was officially completed today and will see Matty remain at Bower Fold until February 11th.
