Marske are four points off top spot, with at least three games in hand on the top three. With three wins and a draw at home, they are unbeaten there. Away from home, they’ve lost two, won two and drawn one. From their last three away matches, Marske beat Guiseley 3-1, but in the away games either side of that they lost 1-0 to Marine and, in their most recent away match, 3-0 to Warrington Rylands. Their other win away from home came at Radcliffe when they won 4-2. Away from the league, in the past two weeks they have been knocked out of the FA Cup by South Shields (losing 5-2) and edging past Clitheroe on penalties after it finished 2-2. Both those games were away.

Though Bamber Bridge have scored more goals, Marske still have the third best attack in the league, as they’ve scored their seventeen goals in fewer games at a rate of 1.9 goals per game. Away from home, they have scored nine, at a rate of 1.8 goals per game. They have yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season, having kept one at home, and have conceded nine away goals at a rate of 1.8 per game, from a total of thirteen conceded at a rate of 1.4 per game overall. Marske’s early contender for the golden boot is Adam Boyes who has scored five, with Dale Hopson two behind.
