Dale started out at Maine Road, before joining Leigh Genesis in 2008. After two seasons, he moved further up the M61 to Chorley, where he stayed for nine seasons, moves to Alfreton and Buxton followed in 2019 and 2020. 2022 saw him come to Tameside with Curzon Ashton, and though he had a spell at Lancaster, he returned to Tameside to join Ashton United. Celtic have come up against Dale several times in the past, most recently last season for Lancaster, where he came close to scoring the winning goal for Lancaster.
