Gambia-born Lamin started his career at Farsley in their youth set-up, playing for England for the English College team, his first international beating Wales 2-0. Lamin made it to Farsley's first team, but was sent on loan to Liversedge in 2011, to whom he moved. In 2013 Lamin moved to Harrogate Railway, making something of an impression with his regular goal scoring. His goal record brought him to the attention of Bradford Park Avenue, who paid a small fee in 2014, going on to make 23 appearances mainly from the bench, but scoring just once. A move to Stockport County in 2015, returning to Bradford Park Avenue after making just 2 appearances for the Hatters in 2016. He nearly moved to Scarborough Athletic after a successful loan spell there, but instead joined Boston United. In February 2017 he returned to his roots to play for Farsley Celtic under John Deacey, who'd signed him at Bradford. In October 2017, he switched Celts, and joined Stalybridge Celtic.
