The Club can confirm Jacques Etia has returned to Celtic from Glossop North End, following a prolific goalscoring spell whilst on dual registration with the North West Counties side.

Jacques has scored 20 goals and been named player of the match eight times this season, and returns to Celtic after making 34 appearances in all competitions for Glossop North End.

Manager James Kinsey commented: “Jacques looked really lively in pre-season but there was elements of his game we felt he needed to improve on. We have always been open and honest with each other and the aim was for him to go and play regularly, to return to us when he was ready. We have kept in touch and he has been a part of the group all season.

“He has been superb for Glossop and his numbers tell a story. We’re excited to add somebody with his pace into the group, especially with us losing Darius Palma next week.”

The striker, who joined Celtic last summer is Glossop's top scorer this season and has scored three goals in his last five games.
