Scarborough born Aron started out as a Middlesborough trainee before moving around the East coast to join Scarborough, whom he scored for within minutes of his debut against Rochdale. Towards the end of his first season with Scarborough, he was released, and joined Whitby, where he became a firm favourite of the fans, and their top scorer in 2003, including a hat trick against Hyde. His goal scoring brought him to the attention of then league 3 club, York City who signed him on at the start of the 2003/2004 campaign. He only got to play eight games for the Minstermen (still scored twice, though), and was constantly sent out on loan, first to Worksop Town, and later to Harrogate. Thus in March 2004, he joined Lincoln City, made six appearances, scored once and was offered a full time position at Clyde Over the border in the Scottish second tier. After just half a season with the Scottish club with twenty-one appearances and three goals, homesickness proved too much to bear, and he asked to be released in the January transfer window. He moved back to Malton and played for Selby Town to keep his fitness up, before Celtic beat Alfreton Town to his signature, and he came to Bower Fold. He was to prove vital, revitalising Celtic and returning them to winning ways, but decided to move on at the end of the season. | Date | Opposition | Competition | Season | H/A | Score | Lineups | Goals | Assists | R | Y | Sub |
