Author: Taran Dhamrait - Mon 2 Nov 20Celtic are excited to announce the signing of Jack Baxter on loan from Preston North End.
The 20-year-old central midfielder will join Celtic until January 2, 2021 and follows previous loanees Adam O’Reilly and Ethan Walker in making temporary switches to Bower Fold.
He signed a new deal with Preston in October 2019 and is highly thought of by Preston manager Alex Neil.
Jack who is from Chorley, signed professionally in 2017 but has been right the way through Preston’s academy, since joining their Under 9s.
After regular training with the first-team, he spent time on loan with Clitheroe last season. Jack had been on loan with Chorley earlier this season but now links up with Simon Haworth’s side for the trip to Grantham Town tomorrow night.
