Well done to the eighteen squad members who braved the torrential downpour in Stockport last night for the second round of fixtures in the Cheshire East Ability Counts League.

Despite the bad weather, both teams did well especially the Whites, who were missing three key players, adding to their points tally from the October fixtures, both sets of results are as follows -

Blues
L 0-2 v Stockport County FC
W 1-0 v Pennine United
W 2-0 v Buxton FC
D 0-0 v Trafford Choices
W 7-0 v Stalybridge Celtic Whites

Whites
W 5-0 v Buxton FC
W 1-0 Stockport County FC
L 0-1 v Trafford Choices
L 2-3 v Pennine United
L 0-7 v Stalybridge Celtic Blues

Well done to Gavin Dunham (Capt) and Jonathan Williams (Manager) for the Blues and Anthony Fairhurst (Capt) and Michael Bethwaite (Manager) for the Whites on the night.

The Blues now have 18 pts from ten games, with the Whites on 15pts from the same amount of games.

Look out for the updated League table on the FA Full Time website (search 'Cheshire Ability Counts League')

There will be no fixtures during December, so the team will be back training every week at Ashton 6th Form College until the next games in January 2018.

Our thanks go to Trustee, Brian Coll and Vintage Celtic player, Eric Williams, for looking after the two teams at Aquinas College last night.
