Some of our over 50's & 60' walking football team, Vintage Celtic, were out in city centre, Manchester, yesterday showcasing some of their walking football skills to the passers by, outside the National Football Museum in the Urbis building next door to Victoria Station.

The event was a follow up from the FA Peoples Cup, which Vintage Celtic entered locally, and held in partnership with the Manchester FA and The National Football Museum Learning & Education.

Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service donated a small sided pitch surround for the teams to play on throughout the day, with Vintage Celtic taking to the pitch during the afternoon for a 30-40min friendly v Life Leisure from Stockport.

After the match, all the participants were given a guided tour of the Museum, so a good afternoon out!
