Stalybridge Celtic Community Development are pleased to be supporting this years Tameside Christmas Toy Appeal, helping to improve the lives of young people across Tameside this festive season.

Did you know around 10,490 children in Tameside live in poverty?

The Tameside Christmas Toy Appeal aims to make Christmas one to remember for Tameside children living in poverty. Run by Tameside 4 Good in partnership with Tameside Reporter, Tameside Radio and Tameside Counil's 'Early Help Team', all toys donated will be distributed to Tameside children.

If families can afford just one extra toy this year, please donate it to the Tameside Christmas Toy Appeal. For children aged from birth to eighteen years old, who may not receive a present.

A few ideas of toys and gifts families can donate

Children aged 0-3 years old - rattles, books, building blocks, playsets
Children aged 4-12 years old - board games, books, craft sets, educational toys
Teenagers - toiletries gift sets, books, gadgets, creative and science toys, gift vouchers
All ages - pyjamas, scarves, gloves and hats, slipper socks

If you are able to donate any of the above items, please drop them off at Bower Fold for the attention of Mike Smith, Community Development Officer.

A big thank you in advance, and hope we can help Tameside 4 Good improve the lives of those who need our support in our community.
