Bolton born, Connor, started out with Oldham Athletic, coming through the youth and reserves ranks to get a first team contract in 2011. He made eight appearances over two years, before signing for the then Conference National side, Hyde. He was ever present with Hyde for two seasons, making sixty-two appearances and scoring ten goals. In 2015, he joined Halifax Town, making forty-one appearances and scoring four, despite spending a month on loan with Bradford Park Avenue. In 2016, he joined Worcester City for a small fee, but an injury in a clash with Kidderminster Harriers curtailed his season after just six appearances and a goal. He briefly joined Aylesbury United and Southport, before joining Warrington Town at the start of the 17/18 season, from where he joins Celtic. After a great season scoring a goal every three games and winning the Player's Player and Supporters Association Player of the Year awards, Connor joined Curzon Ashton. Connor also featured for Ashton United, Daisy Hill, Widnes and most recently Witton, where he recovered from injury to score 15 goals in 41 games last season. After five years away, he rejoined Celtic for the 24/25 campaign.
