Celtic put 5 past Grantham to extend winning run
By Taran Dhamrait

Celtic put on a 5 star performance to score five second half goals without reply against Grantham Town under the lights at Bower Fold.

Goals from Justin Johnson, Keenan Quansah, Scott Bakkor and a brace from Jake Burton capped a fantastic attacking performance from Celtic.

The first half saw Grantham go into the break without conceding having done their defensive duties well against an attacking Celtic side but once Johnson scored Celtic's first goal on 50 minutes, it was only ever going to be one way traffic. Celtic had to be patient but deserve full credit for breaking down a stubborn Grantham team.

The second goal for Celtic came less than two minutes after the first. Jay Fitzmartin's corner caused chaos but quick to respond was Quansah who prodded the ball into the back of the net to score his first of the season.

Celtic had the chance to score a third on 68 minutes, a cross was handled by a Grantham defender. Up stepped Captain Scott Bakkor and as usual he beat the keeper from the spot and sent Jim Pollard the wrong way.

Tranmere loanee Jake Burton was introduced with 20 minutes to go and he made a big impact, scoring his first goal for the club on 75 minutes. A long kick from Jaqhuil Hill saw Burton capitalise on a hesitant defence, he comfortably finished past Pollard.

With three minutes to go, Johnson set Burton through on goal and he bagged a second goal of the game and Celtic's fifth making it four wins in a row for Celtic in what was a fantastic night at Bower Fold.
