The Club is saddened to learn that longtime supporter Vic Yeardley sadly passed away earlier this week at the age of 90.

Vic was a stalwart on the Celtic terraces and a huge Celtic supporter.

Vic and his wife Roz helped to run our Supporters Association in the 1980’s and 1990’s, with Vic the SCSA Chair, and were big supporters, often helping to raise money to help the Club.

In recent years, Vic could be found at Bower Fold on his scooter, where he was always up for a chat.

His final journey will be on Thursday 11th June 2026, arriving at Dukinfield Crematorium for the Funeral Service and Cremation at 3:20 p.m. Vic will pass Bower Fold on its way to the crematorium.

Donations will be collected on the day for Willow Wood.

Rest in peace Vic.
