Designed by Celtic supporters Richard Greenwood and Chris Dale, our new home shirt is inspired by the Celtic treble winners of 25 years ago from the 2000/2001 season.
The famous 3-2 win over Emley to help send Celtic to the Conference took place this very weekend on the 28th April.
Richard and Chris said: “We wanted a simple, classic feel that would make our kits look as good on the pitch as they do on the terraces and as good in the pub as they do on the pitch. The SCSA ran a survey earlier in the year on what supporters wanted in a shirt and a return to embroided badges was something that heavily featured as well as a better quality kit and a green away strip.”
Launching our new shirts saw Jack Tinning and Ellis Horan joined by Olly and Grace from Celtic Juniors take part in a photoshoot at Bower Fold before some of our supporters had a sneak peak at the new shirts at Ol’s Bier and More in Stalybridge. Supporters were joined by treble winners Kevin Parr, Steve Pickford and Stuart Locke to launch the new shirts.
The new home and away shirts will be available to purchase tomorrow at Bower Fold for our game with Chasetown. Online ordering will become available shortly in addition to a new range of leisurewear and merchandise.
Thanks to Connor Pelech and Mike Pelech for their support with our kit launch video and photography which you can see across our socials.
