Stalybridge Celtic can confirm the signing of exciting striker Dylan Scott.

The 19-year-old arrives at Bower Fold following six years at Burton Albion. Dylan has 39 senior appearances to his name already and is familiar with the NPL, having scored six goals while on loan at Hanley. Further loan spells with Mickleover and Leek Town have aided Dylan’s development.

Dylan, who is good friends with Celtic midfielder Brandon Newell, now embarks on the next chapter of his career at Celtic.

Dylan says: “I am buzzing to be joining such a massive Club after some conversations with both Jon Macken and Brandon. It’s clear to see how how highly Brandon talks about the club and the fans so it was a no brainer. I can’t wait to get going in pre-season!”

Jon Macken added: “Dylan is a really talented young striker with a lot of potential. We think he fits how we want to play really well and importantly, he’s a good lad and will fit our squad nicely. He’s had a taste of senior football already and showed what he can do at Hanley, so we’re excited to have him at the Club and to watch him develop with us.”

Originally from Stone in Staffordshire, Dylan began his career at Burton Albion and spent six years rising through their academy. He made his first team debut for Burton in the EFL Trophy in November 2023 and scored his first senior goal in January 2024 against Blackpool.

Welcome to Celtic Dylan!
