Stalybridge Celtic is thrilled to confirm the capture of Witton Albion captain Mike Koral.
Winner of Witton’s 2024-25 Players Player of the Year award and after making 127 appearances for the club over the last three seasons, the experienced full-back now begins a new challenge at Bower Fold and links up with former manager Jon Macken once again.
Mike tells us: “Stalybridge Celtic is a huge Club and I’m thrilled to have signed. It’s a great opportunity to work with Jon again, and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead. Hopefully, we can make it a successful one for everyone involved.”
After sealing Mike’s signing, Jon said: “Mike is someone we know really well so I’m really excited to have him join us at Celtic. He’s a top player and a brilliant person to have in our team. He’s got lots of experience and will really add to our defensive personnel. He’s a great leader and someone I think the fans will really take to.”
Starting his career at Crewe Alexandra Mike has also played for the likes of Congleton, Nantwich Town and 1874 Northwich where he is a popular figure. The last three seasons have been spent at Witton Albion where Mike has played 127 games, becoming a key member of the Witton team.
Welcome to Celtic Mike!
