Jon Macken has added Luke Gibson to his management team who joins the Club as First Team Coach.

Luke currently lectures in Sport Coaching at the University of Derby and has most recently been assistant manager at both Clitheroe and Trafford, the latter for over five years.

Luke spent five seasons in charge of Abbey Hey and has also coached with the England University Squad and the academy at Bury FC.

On joining Jon Macken’s team, Luke said: “I’ve known Steve for a long time and when he took over with Jon, they asked if I would be interested in coming in with them and joining the staff. Obviously Bridge is a big club in non-league so I was keen to come on board.

“They’ve been successful at Radcliffe in gaining promotion there and did really well at Witton, so hopefully I can come in, bring a fresh pair of eyes and support them further.”
