Striker Jordan Buckley has joined Celtic on a 28 day loan from FC United of Manchester.

The 28-year-old striker played 18 times last season for FC United during his second spell at the Club, having joined from Warrington Town in 2023 for an undisclosed fee.

A popular figure at Cantilever Park, Jordan hit 35 goals in 89 apps for Warrington Town including 19 in the 2021-22 season as The Yellows reached the NPL play-off final. He was also part of the team that secured promotion to the National League North in 2023.

Having secured Jordan’s signing, James Kinsey said: “Jordan brings real quality in the final third. We’ve had a few injury’s of late and this loan deal works for us, Jordan and FC United.

"He is a proven goalscorer at higher levels, and he will only aid us in the coming weeks. He is a big lad, but can shift in behind too. He will train with us tonight and will be ready to go for Saturday."

Welcome to Celtic, Jordan!
