We're pleased to confirm Academy midfielder Tommy Duffy and U21's forward Moses Masaba have have joined U21’s graduate Prince Anuniru in signing first team forms for the 2024/25 season!

All three played in last night's pre-season win over New Mills and have been training with the first team this summer.

Central midfielder, Tommy, who has progressed through Celtic’s Academy, featured prominently for our U18’s side whilst also impressing with Maine Road in the NWCFL last year. Tommy was also named our U18's Players' Player of the Year.

Moses has come through Celtic U18’s and U21’s and was a regular in our league and cup double winning U21’s side where he scored six times last season.

Tommy and Moses join Prince Anuniru in signing for Celtic’s first team, who signed with the Club earlier this summer.

Celtic’s First Team Manager James Kinsey commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Tommy and Moses to our first team group, joining Prince ahead of the new season.

“We’re passionate about creating a pathway from our youth teams right up to the first team and it’s important that we recognise and develop our own talent.

“Prince and Moses both impressed me last season as part of our successful U21 side and Tommy is someone we really admire from his time with our Academy and from training with us. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with all three lads this season.”

If you’re leaving school this summer and want to follow in Tommy, Moses and Prince’s footsteps and continue your education in our exciting Academy Education Programme with Central YMCA, email jill.jones@stalycelticfc.co.uk or via 07793 007309 to find out more.

Congratulations Tommy and Moses!
