Author: Taran Dhamrait - Fri 2 Feb 24We’re excited to confirm the signing of highly rated defender Taylor McMahon on an initial 28 day loan from Stockport County.
The 19-year-old left sided defender links up with James Kinsey’s side after previously tasting senior football with Stafford Rangers.
Taylor, a former Stoke City youth player joined Stockport County last summer and is part of their Emerging Talents group.
After securing Taylor’s signing, Manager James Kinsey said: “Taylor is somebody I know of through my role at Stockport.
“He’s technically very good on the ball and has real potential to push on in the game. He was really keen to come and get playing, and for us that was huge. With Jack Tinning out for a number of weeks, it was important we moved quickly to get the right player in and we’re sure Taylor is the right fit for us.”
This season, Taylor has featured for Stockport in the Football League Trophy and made a number of appearances for Stafford in the NPL Premier Division.
