Stalybridge Celtic is pleased to confirm the signing of Cameron Darkwah.

The 29-year-old forward adds attacking depth to the squad for the 2022/23 season.

Cameron began his career at Stockport County and progressed through their youth system, signing senior terms in 2009. He made his first-team debut in a 2-1 win over Barnet in 2010 and scored his first goal for the club vs Kettering.

Cameron left The Hatters and joined Halifax Town before moving to join Chorley under manager Garry Flitcroft. In that season, Cameron helped Chorley gain promotion to the National League North as Northern Premier League Champions.

Cameron then joined Colwyn Bay in the National League North.

He recently had short spells with Stockport Town and Abbey Hey and brings a wealth of experience to the club.

Since signing for Celtic, Cameron said: “I am looking forward to my new challenge and to bringing success back to Stalybridge.”

Welcome to Celtic, Cam!
