Celtic are delighted to confirm the arrival of midfielder Ethan Padden.

The central-midfielder came through the youth system at Chesterfield and gained interest from Aldershot and The New Saints in Wales before having a trial with Huddersfield Town. He then joined Glossop North End before spending the last 17 months at Buxton.

Ethan has impressed in pre-season friendlies for Celtic and convinced Simon Haworth to sign him permanently, Celtic’s Manager said: “Ethan has been in and done really well.

“He’s got a good attitude, he has a real appetite to learn and I like him for that.

“I think he’s got a chance for us to do well.”
