Stalybridge Celtic are excited to confirm the signing of striker Luke Sephton on dual registration from Pilkington Football Club.

The 24-year-old was in fine form last season having notched 18 goals in 30 league games, helping Pilkington to an 8th placed finish before the season was voided.

Luke has carried his form into this season, having scored three goals in four games in the North West Counties First Division North before football was halted back in November.

Luke had been Pilkington’s captain before his move to Celtic and his arrival at Bower Fold will see him team up with his brother Scott, who of course is well known to us all.

Celtic would like to thank Pilkington for their cooperation in allowing Luke to join us.

Luke can be welcomed to Celtic on Twitter @LukeSephton8.

Welcome to Celtic, Luke!

Celtic are next in action on Saturday December 19 vs Matlock Town at Bower Fold, with a limited number of supporters able to attend a Celtic game for the first time since October 31.

Further details on attending Saturday’s game will be released later today.
