So far this season, Bury have played two league matches, one their home match 1-0 over Newcastle Town and drawn 1-1 away from home – giving them an identical start to Celtic. Back-to-back promotions since their re-inception have seen Bury steadily climb the leagues, and they are among the bookie’s favourites for promotion this season, so Celtic couldn’t ask for a harder first round in the cup.
This is not Bury’s first match in the FA Cup, having to take part in the extra preliminary round, where they beat South Liverpool at home 6-0. Bury have scored in every match so far. Take the M60 to junction 18 and use the right two lanes to join the M66.
After 3 miles, leave at junction 2 (Bury, Heywood, A58).
At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A58.
After half a mile, turn left, following signs for Heywood, onto the B6219, Heywood Street.
After half a mile and two roundabouts, turn right onto Market Street at the roundabout.
At the next roundabout turn right onto Gigg Lane and the club is on the left.
