Eddie started out as a trainee with Coventry City, for whom he signed first team terms with in 2003. However, his only first team appearance for the club was fifteen minutes as a sub away at Millwall in May 2003. After a spell on loan at Tamworth, in 2004 he left Coventry to join Polish side Legia Warsaw, where he stayed until 2005, when he hopped around the Polish clubs of Ruch Chorz?w, Sandecja Nowy Sącz and Promień Żary. In 2006 he returned to English football with Nelson, before moving first to Chorley in 2007 and then to Curzon Ashton. In July 2009, he moved to Radcliffe Borough. After one substitute appearance he was released.
