Ian is a goalkeeper of fearsome reputation. He has played for many clubs in his long and varied career. He now runs a goalkeeping course alongside Radcliffe Borough's David Felgate Burnden Park on a Thursday night and is goalkeeping coach at Altrincham. Some of the clubs he has graced are: Altrincham, Chorley, Barrow, Clitheroe, Radcliffe Borough , Rossendale and others! He has joined not only as cover for Craig Dootson, but also as goalkeeper coach. This is not the first time he has been on Celtic's books - he made his debut back in 1985 when he played 7 games for the Celts before moving on to Chorley.
