On loan from Loaned from Wigan AthleticDavid is a product of Wigan's youth academy and progressing into the reserve teams. After an impressive year in the reserves, David was given full time professional terms, and assigned a permanent squad number. He has made several appearances for the 'Latics first team in pre-season friendlies and is a regular goal scorer for the reserves. Manager Paul Jewel is keen that on of his hottest prospects, and reserves leading goal scorer for two seasons running, gets some competitive experience before being launched into a promotion into the Premiership Campaign for which reason he comes on a month long loan to Celtic.
