Stalybridge Celtic is delighted to announce American based engineering consultancy Fidelis have extended their partnership with the Club and will continue to be the Clubs main shirt sponsor for the next two seasons. There is also the option to extend for a further season.
Fidelis, who were founded in 2020 are co-owned by Rob Hurlston and Bill Webster and are based in New Boston, Michigan. They have been our main shirt sponsor for the last two seasons and have been crucial partners in our journey under the ownership of Nigel Jones and Paul Bowden. Fidelis are excited to continue on this journey with us and we’re thrilled to continue working with Rob, Bill and their team.
Although based in the US, Rob originally grew up in Stalybridge, just off Mottram Road and studied at Stalyhill Junior School and West Hill School in addition to gaining masters and doctorate degrees in engineering at the University of Manchester.
He followed Celtic home and away between 1996-2012 before moving over to the US in 2012.
Bill grew up in Michigan and studied Economics and Chemistry at Albion College.
Fidelis Co-owner Rob Hurlston said: “We’re thrilled to be back! And this time for two more years. Fidelis couldn’t be more excited to continue as the club’s main sponsor for the coming 25/26 season as well as the 26/27 season too.
“Seeing the Fidelis logo on the front of the shirt is an absolute honour for me personally and I can’t wait to be back at Bower Fold for a few more games this season and beyond!
Stalybridge Celtic Co-Owner Paul Bowden said: “We are all thrilled that Rob, Bill and the Fidelis team will continue to be part of the Celtic family. Their support has been invaluable on our journey so far and we’re looking forward to continuing our partnership.”
And if you don’t know what they do - Fidelis offers engineering simulation services to a wide variety of customers. Whether you’re developing a space station (yes, Fidelis’ customers are developing space stations) or you just want to make sure the chair you’re designing can hold the weight of a person, Fidelis has the tools and knowhow to validate and optimise things – virtually.
