Match Preview :- Leamington FC - Saturday October 26th, 2013 (15:00:00)

On Saturday, Celtic face the rematch of last Saturday's match when Leamington are the visitors in the Skrill North clash (kick off 3pm). Leamington are currently fifteenth in the table, three places and three points behind Celtic. There will be a live match centre for this game.

Leamington were in thirteenth ahead of Celtic's game on Tuesday night, having won their last two games, to lift them from the relegation zone places that they'd found themselves in after several games without a win. They had a long wait between their opening day win at home to Bradford Park Avenue, and their next win away at Workington on the 5th of October. They followed that win with a consecutive one against us last weekend. The Workington win came on the back of two away draws at Stockport and Colwyn Bay, meaning that Leamington have only lost twice on the road this season, and appear to have done a successful job of turning their early season poor form around.

Last season, Leamington finished very strongly, winning the Southern Premier League at something of a canter, losing only seven all season with one of the best defences in the league, seeing them finish on ninety-five points, twelve points clear of Stourbridge. That defence has continued this season, and only four teams, all in the top seven, have a better defensive record! Leamington's major problem this season appears to have been scoring, a problem which is easing as players return from injury –including last Saturday's goal scorer Craig Owen.

Leamington still have a few players on the walking wounded list, with Stefan Moore having missed a few games, but they have no suspension worries ahead of the game. In their last match, the 1-0 home win over Celtic, they lined up as:
1. Tony Breeden
2. James Fry
3. Stephan Morley
4. Joe Magunda
5. Liam Daly
6. James Mace
7. Matt Dodd
8. Jake Heath
9. Ricky Johnson
10. Lee Chilton
11. Lee Moore

Celtic will be looking at Adam Pepper, who might be joining Celtic's growing injury list. Although Matty Urwin is now back, as is Prince Haywood and Obi Anorou, Adam could be joining Tom Buckley on the treatment table after the nasty foul in Tuesday's match against Vauxhall. Celtic too have nobody on the suspension list. In Celtic's last match, the vital 3-2 win at home over Vauxhall Motors, Celtic lined up as:
1. Matty Urwin
2. Kelvin Bleau
3. Andy McWilliams
4. Mark Lees
5. Joel Bembo-Leta
6. Kristian Platt
7. Adam Pepper
8. Callum Warburton
9. Obi Anorou
10. Sean McConville
11. Conal Platt

A win on Saturday for Celtic, could lift us into the top ten (if Stockport beat Histon), whilst a loss would see Leamington leap-frog us, as could Stockport. Due to the FA Cup, there are only three matches on Saturday. The other two matches are:
Boston United (22pts 6th) v Altrincham (26pts 2nd)
Histon (15pts 9th) v Stockport County (13pts 13th)
