Celtic can confirm that keeper Liam Isherwood has extended his loan with the club until November 6.

The Accrington loanee originally joined the club in September on a months loan and featured in all three wins over FC United of Manchester, Whitby Town and Stafford Rangers, he will now stay with the club for a further month.

Liam told Accrington's club website: "I am loving it at Stalybridge. We have won three in three since I have joined, moved from around 17th place in the table to around 8th and it's a great group of lads."

A short return to Accrington earlier this week saw Liam enter their matchday squad for their 5-0 win over Leicester City Under 23's but Liam now returns to Bower Fold looking to continue his 100% winning record in a Celtic shirt. 

The club wishes to thank Accrington Stanley for allowing Liam to extend his loan spell.
