Author: Taran Dhamrait - Tue 6 Oct 20Stalybridge Celtic are thrilled to announce the signing of Jordan Helliwell, who joins us on a months loan from Championship side Barnsley.
Jordan is a 19-year-old right-back who has been with Barnsley since he was 10 years old, joining The Tykes in April 2012.
He made his first-team debut for Barnsley in November 2018, coming off the bench in a 2-1 win vs Bradford City in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Jordan was named Barnsley’s 2017/18 Academy Player of the Year and has been a regular for their U23s team.
Jordan has already played at Bower Fold, coming on as a substitute for Barnsley in their 4-0 pre-season win over Celtic in the summer of 2019.
