Celtic are pleased to confirm the signing of defender Freddie Sass.

Freddie has impressed as a Trialist during pre-season, taking part in multiple friendlies including last Saturday’s 4-0 win over Longridge Town.

The 19-year-old defender has previously been with Egerton Football Club and Macclesfield Town.

Freddie was pleased to have officially signed for Celtic, he said: “I’m happy to have signed for Stalybridge.

“I’m ready for a new challenge at a great club and can’t wait for the season to start.”
