Stalybridge Celtic are thrilled to announce that Glenn Ethan' Walker and Adam O'Reilly have signed on loan from Preston North End on youth loans until the end of the season.

17-year-old Ethan is a forward who finished last season as Preston's youth team's top scorer for the second year in a row. Ethan made his Preston first-team debut in December 2018 during a draw with Aston Villa, becoming Preston's youngest ever player to represent the club in a league fixture. His second first-team appearance came in August 2019, featuring in an away win over Bradford City in the Carabao Cup. Earlier this season, he joined Altrincham on loan, making four appearances in total for the National League North side.

Also joining from Preston is 18-year-old Irish midfielder Adam O'Reilly. Adam made his first-team debut in the same game as Ethan, in December 2018 against Aston Villa. He joined Preston from Ringmahon Rovers and has featured for the Republic of Ireland's Under 17 team six times, scoring one goal. He was part of the team that competed in the UEFA U17 Euro in May. Last season, Adam joined Hyde United on loan and scored once in four appearances.

A big thank you to Preston North End for allowing Ethan and Adam to join Celtic.

Celtic are next in action on Saturday January 25, facing Nantwich Town at Bower Fold.
