Celtic have decided to take up the 1 year option in his contract after a successful first season with the club.
Neil, joined after being released from Rochdale academy and plying his trade with Malpas, and soon became a hit and finished top goalscorer last season with 12 goals.
Manager Simon is delighted to have Neil for another season as he likened him to his former striker Kurt Willoughby, who has gone on to good heights in the non-league game after his two seasons at Clitheroe with Haworth.
