Our two adult Pan-Disability Teams ended the season on a high last night in the final month of fixtures in the Cheshire East Ability Counts League over at Aquinas College in Stockport.

Prior to the games starting the Blues had a chance of winning the League, but sadly results went against them, especially against leaders, Trafford Choices, who took points of them and the Whites, to finish in top spot, leaving the Blues in second and the Whites in third place in the final table.

Results on the night were -

BLUES
W 2-0 v Stockport County FC
W 2-0 v Pennine United
W 2-0 v Buxton FC
D 0-0 v Trafford Choices
L 0-1 v Stalybridge Celtic Whites

WHITES
W 5-0 v Buxton FC
D 1-1 v Stockport County FC
L 1-2 v Trafford Choices
W 3-1 v Pennine United
W 1-0 v Stalybridge Celtic Blues

So a ten point haul for both teams wasn't enough to clinch the title, but both teams did exceptionaly well throughout the season and both deserve the top three finish.

The teams are back in action on Saturday 9th June 2018 in the Ability Counts Cup, which sees teams from the East Division and the West Division, battle it out for the Cup and Plate Trophies, at the Cheshire FA HQ in Northwich.

Thanks to Trustee, Brian Coll, Vintage Celtic Player, Eric Williams, Sean and James from Ashton AFG, for assisting with the teams last night, much appreciated.
