Author: Unknown - Mon 15 Jan 18Stalybridge Celtic is pleased to announce that no less than five academy players have signed on to help with first team duties.
Eli Fernandes (Striker), Brice Pouamoun (Striker), Jake Storey (Right Back), Callum Penistone (Centre Back) and Aidan Winterbottom (Goalkeeper) have all put pen to paper for the second half of the season.
On seeing the progress of his players, Academy Head, David Sullivan said: "The reward for these lads working hard not just on the training pitch and matches but also the gym and in college is plain to see. It's no coincidence that these lads have fantastic attitudes and dedication and deserve to be rewarded as such. Character is everything!"
The Academy is holding its next trial date a week today (Monday 22 January), at Stockport Sports Village.
