We are pleased to announce our participation in The National League Trust U11's Cup 2018, a national competition for all clubs currently in receipt of a grant from The National League Trust.

The format for the competition is for each club to hold a 'Local' tournament to find a winner to represent their club in the next stage. All local competitions will be held before the end of February 2018.

Once each club has a winning school, they will then progress to play in a 'Regional' tournament, which will be held during March 2018.

Four Regional winners will play in a North or South tournament in April 2018.

The winners of each of these will contest the 'National' Final at Wembley in May 2018.

Last season, we held our Local stage at Copley Academy, where St. Raphael's Primary (Stalybridge) won through to represent the club at the Regional Finals at Power League in Stockport.

This year The National League Trust will be running a boys and girls tournament, with our stages taking place on Tuesday 13th February (Boys) and Tuesday 27th February (Girls).

The competition is open to pupils in Year five and six (KS2) and we are hoping to involve all ten Primary Schools in the town to enter one or two teams.
