Stalybridge Celtic Foundation are pleased to be working in partnership with It's Not Okay, a specialist multi-agency team tackling child sexual exploitation in Tameside.

Our first team players took to the Bower Fold pitch prior to the pre-season friendly versus Huddersfield Town FC, wearing 'It's Not Okay' t-shirts during the warm up to raise awareness of the campaign.

The campaign was put together by Project Phoenix to protect young people and prosecute offenders.

It's Not Okay, are working to improve the way Parents, Carers, Teachers, Police and other agencies identify Child Sexual Exploitation.

We will be working with Lesley Edwards from Greater Manchester Police, in the coming months to set up a CPD course for Coaching Staff working with children, to attend a three hour workshop, as well as looking to develop a delivery model to take in to local Primary Schools in and around Stalybridge.
